About Free Large Print Puzzles

Editorial policy

Every puzzle is generated and machine-checked; every count on this site is literal; answer keys included, no signup.

Who runs this site

[Operator bio placeholder — replaced before launch. Short version: one person who got tired of printable puzzle sites that bury a blurry PDF under forty ads, and whose family includes the exact people 28-point type is for.]

How the puzzles are made

Every word search, sudoku, bingo card, and maze is generated by code at build time, then run through an acceptance suite before it can be published: every listed word is verified present in its grid, every sudoku solution is checked against its puzzle, every maze is confirmed to have exactly one path, every bingo card is checked against its column rules, and every grid is re-scanned in all eight directions against a forbidden-words list. Pages are set in Atkinson Hyperlegible, with the font point size printed on every page footer.

The only decoration is a small set of ink-light line-art motifs — a leaf, a sun, a pencil — that frame the title on each page. They are our own original stroke-only drawings (no stock clipart, no third-party icon set), drawn as thin vector lines so they cost almost no ink and never touch a puzzle grid or an answer key. Provenance and every bundled license are recorded in the repository NOTICE file.

Sets are refreshed when there is a real reason to (seasonal pages get newly generated puzzles before their holiday), and the date on each page changes only when its content genuinely does.
