Choose word search, sudoku, maze, or bingo. For word puzzles, pick one of the curated theme lists (the same vetted vocabularies the rest of the site uses) or type your own words.

Choose an honest size and font tier
The size, difficulty, and font-point options match the printed inventory exactly — 28pt standard large print, 36pt sudoku digits, 43pt extra-large — so a generated puzzle is the same quality as a downloaded one.

Generated in your browser
Word searches use @blex41/word-search, sudoku uses sudoku-gen (plus a custom 6×6 for kids), mazes use generate-maze with a BFS solver, and bingo uses column-constrained sampling. The PDF is rendered with pdfkit and Atkinson Hyperlegible — all client-side, in a Web Worker.

- Is this word search maker really free, with no signup?
- Yes. The generator is free with no account, no email, and no watermark. You pick your options, generate, and download a print-ready PDF — there is nothing to sign up for.
- Do my custom words get uploaded anywhere?
- No. The whole generator runs in your browser in a Web Worker. Your words, the puzzle, and the PDF are all built on your own device — nothing you type is sent to a server.
- Does the generated PDF include an answer key?
- Every generated PDF has the puzzle followed by its answer key on a separate page — word searches show the solution capsules, sudoku shows the filled grid, and mazes draw the solution path.
- What font size are the generated puzzles?
- The same honest tiers as the printable library: 28-point Atkinson Hyperlegible for word searches, 36-point digits for sudoku, and a 43-point extra-large option. The point size is printed on every page footer.
- What if some of my words are too long to fit the grid?
- The generator never silently drops a word. If a word will not fit the grid you chose, it tells you exactly which words were left out and how many were placed, so you can pick a larger grid or shorter words.
- Can I use the puzzles I make in a classroom or care facility?
- Yes — generated puzzles carry the same license as the downloads: free for personal, classroom, and care-facility use, not for resale. Print and photocopy as many as your group needs.
