- Which spring words should solvers expect to hunt?
- Gardens, weather, and returning wildlife: SEEDLINGS, DAFFODILS, TADPOLES, EQUINOX. The 42-word pool is all common nouns — no brands and nothing trademarked.
- Will these spring puzzles change next year?
- Not unless the page says so. Generation is deterministic from fixed seeds, so the PDFs stay identical between visits; any future refresh would be a deliberate update noted on this page.
- What’s the cheapest way to print the full spring set?
- Standard or draft quality, black and white. The pages contain only type and thin grid rules, so even the 21-page pack uses very little ink or toner.
- Are these gentle enough for a first-time solver?
- A beginner can certainly work them — the large 28pt letters help — though words do run backwards and diagonally. For a simpler ruleset, the kids page hides words left-to-right and top-to-bottom only.
